Monroe Chamber of Commerce Welcomes Dino Rossi.

Part 1

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5

The Monroe Chamber of Commerce welcomed Dino Rossi to their monthly luncheon at the Rock Church Tuesday July 10th. It was a very festive atmosphere as the runner up to the last governors race worked the crowd. Many question weather he will run again Dino Rossifor the top spot in Washington. His answer, I'm not sure yet. If Rossi, 47, does run again, he'll have the Republican nomination all but locked. Ever since his 2004 loss to Gregoire by a bitterly contested 133 votes out of almost 3 million cast, virtually every Republican in Washington has assumed that he again will be the nominee. source SPI

Many at this gathering of Monroe's business leaders feel that his presents in the election would help keep focus on issues that have gone by the way-side. As a former state Senate budget chairman, he faults the governor's and Democratic Legislature's budget priorities, saying, "The spending is going to produce what I believe is going to be the biggest deficit the state has ever seen."Elvig - Rossi

Todd Elvig a small business owner and strong supporter of Dino Rossi says, "We need more stand-up people like Dino, you know, the ones that respect the community and stand by their convictions. Dino is a person that makes informed decisions on the issues. He's NOT one to put his finger up to see which way the wind is blowing." Like other supporters, Elvig is also anxious to see if Dino will run again.
